Letter from the Editor

Freedom can be many things to many people. For me it is this magazine and the ability it has to free artists of color from the standards of the mainstream. It’s like laying on your back in the grass on a summer day. The wind blowing across your face as you think to yourself, “Can this day ever end?” I most definitely don’t want “Late Fee” to end and hopefully in the near future we can change the name to “Paid in Full”

I would like to thank all the important people who have pushed me along the way to get all this done. You just don’t know how much it means to me that you’ve held me accountable, supported me, and just loved me throughout this whole process. I would like to thank all the contributors to the online platform and our future print issue. Without you all this magazine would not be what it is. I am truly grateful.

Freedom is many things to many people. I would like to think that this magazine has brought us one step closer.

One step.

One step closer.

One step at a time.

Blessings,

Steven Jermaine Jones
